Overview
The old floor comes out properly, not halfway
Removal is more than pulling up the surface. Carpet leaves tack strips and staples. Tile leaves thinset bonded to the slab or backer. Old vinyl leaves adhesive. Anything left behind shows up later as a bump, a hollow spot or a squeak under the new floor.
We remove the existing floor, clear the residue, protect the parts of the house we are carrying through, and haul the debris away so you are not left with a pile in the driveway. From there the subfloor is prepared and the new floor goes in — usually with the same crew, in the same schedule.
