Yes. Customer-supplied LVP is welcome. During the free measurement we check the product, the square footage, manufacturer requirements and the transition or trim pieces needed, then quote the installation and any removal or subfloor preparation separately in writing.

What is the difference between LVP and SPC flooring?

Accepted Answer

Both are waterproof vinyl planks. LVP is the general category of luxury vinyl plank; SPC has a denser stone-plastic composite core, which makes it firmer underfoot and more forgiving over a subfloor with small imperfections. We recommend one or the other after seeing your subfloor.

What is the difference between LVP and laminate in a Florida home?

Laminate uses a wood-fiber core, so standing water and long-term humidity can swell the edges. LVP has a waterproof plastic or stone-composite core, which is why it is the plank we install most in Jacksonville bathrooms, kitchens and whole-home projects.

Yes. Carpet, pad, tack strips and staples all come out and are hauled away, and the slab or subfloor is cleaned and checked for flatness before the first plank goes down.

Often yes, if the tile is sound and flat and the finished floor height still works at doors and transitions. We check on site and tell you honestly whether an overlay or a full removal is the better option.

The plank surface is waterproof, but water that sits underneath a floating floor still has to come out. Glue-down installs handle standing water better. If a floor gets soaked, call us — often only the affected area needs to be lifted, dried and reset.

Yes. We finish the perimeter with shoe molding or quarter round, reinstall or replace baseboards, and cut clean transitions at doorways so nothing is left for another trade to come back and fix.
