Much of the work we are asked about in Nocatee is upgrade work rather than repair — replacing builder-grade flooring, retiling a shower, or refreshing a kitchen. Those projects reward careful preparation more than anything else.
That is where we spend the extra time: flattening the slab before vinyl plank goes down and waterproofing a shower before tile. The finish only stays right if what is underneath it was done right.
You get a written scope after the free in-home measurement, covering materials, sequence and timeline, so the project is agreed before demolition rather than negotiated during it.
We describe only work Braga Remodeling has actually performed, and we are happy to walk through relevant examples with you at the measurement.
Bathrooms in a newer Nocatee home rarely have anything wrong with them. What they have is builder-grade finishes: a fiberglass or basic tiled shower, a stock vanity and standard fixtures. A master bathroom remodel in a planned community like this replaces those with a larger tiled shower, a new vanity and tile that suits the rest of the house, inside a layout that already works.
Newer construction makes demolition more predictable, but it does not make waterproofing optional. A builder-grade shower can leak slowly at the curb and the corners, so when we refresh one we take it back to the studs and rebuild it over a continuous waterproofing system instead of tiling over what is there. Mold-resistant grout and a fan that clears the room matter in a new house as much as an old one in Florida humidity.
