Why a remodeler is a good fit for install-only LVP
A plank installer lays the floor. A remodeling contractor also thinks about everything that touches the floor: door casings that need undercutting, vanities and toilets that have to come out and go back, appliances in the kitchen, the stair nosings and the trim that frames each room. Because Braga Remodeling also does bathroom and kitchen remodeling, those details are planned in the estimate instead of discovered on install day.
Pricing is simple. Labor-only LVP installation starts at $2.00/sq ft when you supply the planks. If you have not bought yet, our main offer is waterproof LVP from $3.99/sq ft installed (Material + installation) — we keep that margin low on purpose to grow our name in Jacksonville, and it is usually worth comparing before you buy flooring at a store and hire an installer separately. Carpet removal is $0.50/sq ft and old tile removal starts at $2.00/sq ft. Neither is included in the from $3.99/sq ft installed (Material + installation) price. The dumpster fee is $400 when Braga has to haul the debris away. Shoe molding or quarter round is $2.99/linear ft with material, or $3.99/linear ft painted or floor-matched.
Before day one, we check the boxes (product, quantity and lot), confirm the planks have acclimated inside the air-conditioned house as the manufacturer requires, and list on the estimate who supplies underlayment, transitions and trim. Product defects stay with the store or manufacturer; our workmanship is covered as described on our warranty page.
